Beginners Training

The next Beginners Training course is scheduled to start November 2008.

Greeenwich Sailing Club runs beginners training courses for kids wishing to learn dinghy sailing.

Our next beginners course is scheduled to start November 2008 with 2 Saturday and 4 Sunday morning sessions before Christmas and then a full weekend of training in early February.

We don't charge for our training course as the training is run by our experienced volunteers for the benefit of our club members. The only financial requirement is that the participants (or their families) are financial members of the club.

Participants learn to sail in our "Envy" club trainers as well as club owned Manly Junior or Flying 11 dinghies. Following the training sessions the club boats can be hired, or you can buy your own boat, and join in our club races on Sunday afternoons as well participating in the further coaching programs offered by the club.
